Responsible organizations
According to agreements adopted and issued at the European Union Level (Green Book, 2001), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) includes the corporate domain, relations with civil society, and environmental responsibility, all closely "contributing to commercial activity."
CSR not only provides leverage for companies in their development and progress (1) but also increases the scope of the risks (operational, social, environmental, etc.) included in their reputation risk (2). For companies listed on the stock market, this risk has the power to have a directly measurable negative impact on the company's value and its capacity for investment and financing (stock trends, bank sensitivity, and credit agencies).
